Art Club Tea Cup Painting Workshop

To welcome Chinese New Year and the spring season, the Art Club organised a Chinese Tea Cup Painting Workshop on 19th January 2019. Because of DGS campus renovations, the workshop was held at a cosy multifunction space in Central. The theme of the workshop was plum blossoms. Teacher Carole taught participants to use both Chinese and Western techniques and paints to capture the subtlety and joyousness of plum blossoms in spring. After some practice, participants were able to paint the plum buds and blossoms on the tea cups. We were all ecstatic to be able to use these festive tea cups during Chinese New Year family gatherings. The next Art Club workshop will be held in April. Stay tuned for our updates!
